Let's all celebrate and have a good time

Basically how I feel like I wanna sing out right now - IT'S VACATION HOLIDAY!
Meaning that Friday the 16th is my last day for this semester, and school won't be back up again until January 16th, 2017!

For Jul (Swedish Christmas) we had my brother over from Luleå and my Nana. And
this year was Jordan's first Christmas holiday in Sweden. We did have a great time all together, even though hubby were lightly surprised and amused that the Swedish table consisted mainly of various dishes of fish.
Something that I myself have never even yet thought about!
We also managed to get 2 bookings for dressing up as Mr and Mrs Claus, which landed us some decent money for a mere 1 hour of work on the 24th.
And after coming home and undressing the costumes and putting our festive clothes back on we joined the other's for a continuing celebration at home - handing out gifts to each other, eating desserts consisting of homemade candy Pannacottta, and enjoying some time together watching the TV before we all sleepily headed to our beds for a well deserved rest.

On the 25th my family and I usually have a smaller tradition where we take a walk together outside, and this year we decided
to take the dogs (Tessa and Nelly) with us for the cold winter stroll.
We walked to grab some more milk at the store and later headed over to my Nan's to put up some broken and tangled up decor lights that she had troubles with. We spent around and hour in the afternoon there also having coffee and a chat about memories and the day before.
My other brother joined us later and had dinner with us that night and even slept over to the morning after.

These few days have been filled with tears, joy, lots of laughter, and happy memories.
And I wouldn't want to trade it out for anything

My 2017 Goals

Everybody I know are already making plans for resolutions for diet plans, travel plans, making money etc... the list can be long.
So I decided to do it a bit differently.

Well, it's that time of year again. The holidays are coming up slowly around every corner of the world, as well as planning for that lovely New Year's Eve party and making resolutions. However, about 5 years ago I noticed that making plans to be fit and healthy did NEVER work for my own sake.
So, as Swedish Jul passed I thought hard that week before New Year's - what DO I actually want out of the next year?
What didn't work out so well this year past months for me so far?

I wanted to be happy.
And that's exactly how I made my resolution plans around - to try and be as happy as I possibly could be. And even though 2016 had it's ups and downs, it was still fairly good to me.
But this time I will change things up again for myself, and instead of promises, resolutions and planning here and there.
I will set up my own 2017-goals.
What does your list look like?

2017 Goal-list
• Read a minimum of 5 books
•  Travel at least twice (where one trip is abroad)
• Sell 9 pieces of arts or crafts
• Give 2 people an unexpected surprise
• Battle and win a personal struggle
• Try out 10 new foods/dishes
• Do something unexpected
